– I’m working on a track and my CPU is taking a huge hit from an FX chain + Synth and I want to free up CPU for other stuff. It’s called Disk Rendering in FL Studio, which makes sense, but. However, there is an effective way to manage the same operation albeit hidden from plain sight. For people who are used to hearing the term Freeze or Bounce (Aka: Render in Place) from other DAWS may notice that FL Studio doesn’t directly have the nice “one button” features of other DAWS and really needs to advance out of the last generation. This IS a documented feature but it’s very poorly worded IMO.
