You will likely want to assign it back to the original channel it resided in especially if it had sends on it which won’t be rendered obviously. You’ll now have your wav on the Playlist. If the mixer isn’t in focus it brings up the randomize function, so hit F9 just to make sure before you render. Select your preferred settings and hit Startĥ. With the Mixer as the focused window hit alt+R. On the Playlist grab the section you want to bounce. I always leave a bar or so on each end so your attacks and decays aren’t chopped.Ĥ. – I’m working on a track and my CPU is taking a huge hit from an FX chain + Synth and I want to free up CPU for other stuff. It’s called Disk Rendering in FL Studio, which makes sense, but. However, there is an effective way to manage the same operation albeit hidden from plain sight. For people who are used to hearing the term Freeze or Bounce (Aka: Render in Place) from other DAWS may notice that FL Studio doesn’t directly have the nice “one button” features of other DAWS and really needs to advance out of the last generation. This IS a documented feature but it’s very poorly worded IMO.
